TOY "OPEN RACER #7" RACE CAR - 1950s or before, Auburns Rubber Co. 10" x 4" x 2.75.

Red & black hard rubber with painted accents & metal wheel rods. This vintage toy race car has a classic streamline design featuring original rubber moveable wheels. Copy (on both sides) states "AUBURN".

A nice early example with outstanding visual appeal. We consider the condition to be FAIR with miscellaneous surface/stain/paint wear. Scattered moderate rubber discoloration & spot cracking/chipping largest crack being approx. 1/2 at rear axle connection. Toy has generally kept its sleek shape very well.

Mild oxidation on metal wheel rods. Wheels move freely, though metal rods are slightly bowing from age. Overall, a very attractive appearance by most standards (see photos).

This item would make a great HOT ROD display for the discriminating RACE CAR and/or TOY MEMORABILIA enthusiast. On a condition code scale of 1 to 10, the above listed item(s) rated - (7-6).
